Part of a collection of puzzles inspired by a local exhibition of Evelyn De Morgan works.

Flora, depicting the Roman goddess of flowers, was originally painted by De Morgan in 1894, drawing inspiration from Botticelli's Primavera and The Birth of Venus. Staying true to the medium of the original, I've printed this copy on high quality canvas before adhering to 6mm baltic birch plywood. Mirroring the curls in Flora's hair and folds of her dress I opted to cut this piece in my expressionistic "swirl curl" cutting style.

The completed puzzle measures 5-1/2 x 12-3/8 inches and is comprised of 136 pieces.

As a limited edition of 1/1, this image will never be recycled by the workshops of Turning Taxis Plywood Puzzles.
